Build a performance cycle: goal setting at the start of the year (employee proposes goals, manager approves), mid-year check-in, and annual appraisal with self-rating, manager rating, and HR calibration. Generate a final performance rating that connects to salary revision workflows. Store all historical appraisals on the employee profile.
Step 7: Compliance and statutory reports
Generate reports for: PF contribution (ECR format for EPFO portal upload), ESI contribution (Challan format), Form 16 generation for each employee, TDS returns (24Q format), and professional tax returns by state. These are the statutory obligations that every Indian company must fulfill monthly and annually.
Step 8: Analytics dashboard
Build an HR analytics dashboard: headcount by department and location, monthly attrition rate with exit reason breakdowns, average tenure, leave utilization by type, absenteeism trends, and salary cost by department. These metrics help the leadership team make informed decisions about hiring, retention, and compensation.
